Many years ago our parish was fortunate enough to have an evening with Matthew Kelly. At the time, I did not know who Mr. Kelly was. I attended Mass regularly, read the Bible diligently, and lectored once a month. I was starting to understand my Catholic faith, but there was much I did not understand. And I certainly I didn’t know any contemporary speakers, even one as famous as Mr. Kelly. But something he said stuck with me that night. He spoke about taking one thing away from Mass and writing it down. Just one thing. Over time, just like the mustard seed, this small beginning would become a powerful spiritual tool. He called it a Mass Journal.
